Happy New Year!

I hope everyone enjoyed their holiday seasons. I'm just having a hard time believing it's already 2007...

January marks the second half of the Rotary year. Can you believe you've already put up with me for six months? But the better question is: can you put up with me for another six months?

If you missed our last regular meeting (on December 21), PE Nancy Kemp announced that the Board of Directors has given her and the Nominating Committee a little more time to put together the Club's 2007-08 Board of Directors. However, she did put forth the nominations of the following three officers, since Rotary International and the District needs these names sooner rather than later:

  • President: Nancy Kemp
  • Treasurer: Ellen Davis
  • Secretary / Past President: David Kenitzer

Speaking of Nancy and committees, be sure to attend next week's meeting. The Radio Auction Committee will be kicking off this year's annual fundraiser with a Club Assembly. If it's anything like past years, they will be stepping through an interesting presentation, handing out packets, and answering any questions you might have.

In Service Above Self,
President David "The Kidd" Kenitzer
