Rotario - Happy Thanksgiving 2017!

Dear Rotarians and Friends,

I would like to wish all of you a wonderful Thanksgiving shared with family and friends. While this is the holiday officially set aside to focus on our blessings and to give thanks, thankfulness really shouldn't be limited to the fourth Thursday in November. It should be something we experience 365 days of the year. As William Arthur Ward said "Gratitude can transform common days into thanksgivings, turn routine jobs into joy, and change ordinary opportunities into blessings." As Rotarians, we can be grateful for the ordinary opportunities that we have been changed into blessings in our community and around the world.

This week I encourage you to think about all the ordinary opportunities the Rotary Club of Nevada City has turned into blessings for the past 82 years and to be thankful for all the opportunities we will have in the future. Have a blessed Thanksgiving!

Remember, we are not DARK for Thanksgiving, the meeting has been MOVED to November 30th for the Foundation Dinner.
