Club News

Dear Rotarians and Friends,

Bienvenidos to Nevada City Rotary Club Carnival! Celebremos!

Wow, blink and it is time to party and celebrate another great Rotary year at Robin's Demotion Party!  Thank you Judy and George for graciously inviting us once again to your beautiful home and property.  As for the details, you'll have to join us to find out given I (Robin) don't know the plans for our program. Before the roast, let me extend a very heartfelt THANK YOU to all for a fabulous year!

Last Week June 18 ~ Cooks in the Rotary Kitchen

Nancy Kemp stoked the fires for our  Adventures & Wine ~ Party with A Purpose.  The team distributed member packets with donation forms and information on prior year donations. If you were not at Thursday's meeting your personalized packet is in the mail to you.  Save the date for 5:30pm July 14th  at John Hensley's office! We are panning a Donor Contact Kickoff ralley to build the momentum as we begin following up with donors.  We launched and have already received several thousand dollars worth of donations in response to donor letters mailed last week.

Carolyn Feuille presented an informative overview of our Open World Project through which we will host a small team of entreprenuers from Kazakhstan in late September. Thank you Carolyn Fueille, Nancy Kemp, and Dave Bunje for all the planning you have already done for this very special program. Open World Leadership is a Rotary partnership with the US State Department.
