Staying Connected - March 25 Lunch

Dear Rotarians and Friends,

Join us this Week on Zoom

Thursday March 25, 2021 - 12:15pm Lunch

Looking Back and Looking Ahead with Prez Tom

In last week's meeting, several people said they wanted to make a personal contribution to the Centro Government Clinic in Los Barriles. If you want to make a contribution, please contact Tom Ryan by April 2!  Thank you for your spontaneous generosity!

This weekend marked the official beginning of Spring, with longer days and warmer temperatures coming! As I travel around the area, I am seeing a few trees starting to blossom, and of course the daffodils are in full bloom all over. We are planning an Earth Day work party on April 22 to celebrate Spring and the planting season and help boost Woolman School as they recreate their vegetable garden. Save the date and watch for more details soon!

Join us this week as we take a look back at the crazy times since this Rotary year began on July 1, 2020. In a year of so many challenges, our Club has found ways to stay engaged and in service to our community. We still have a few months of this Rotary year for more service projects, and I am looking forward to the possibility of us meeting again where we can enjoy each other’s company in person!

Your Happy/Sad Shares make a difference!

Thank you Treasurer Tom Ryan for your ongoing diligence with our finances.  And thank you Club members for following the Four Way Test with your pledges to our Club!  If you have questions, Tom R is happy to discuss your statement with you.

Your Happy/Sad shares give us glimpses of what is going on in your life beyond Rotary.  They are special moments together especially since so much of our time is on Zoom.  Your associated "bucks" provide a base for us to continue our special services to our community and beyond.  Thanks for sharing you!

Stay connected and informed

Robin monitors our email. You can direct questions to that email or to me.  As we learn more and to stay in touch, we will send out regular or more frequent Rotarios.
